SHARE PROJECT
The project concerns the refurbishment of a 99,05 m2 apartment in the town of Farsala. Entry to the apartment is done through the entrance hallway housing the wardrobe. From that point on, the functional areas of the apartment are organized into two sections. One section is occupied by the living room and the dining room, whereas the second section houses two bedrooms, a bathroom and a WC.
The setup of spaces is characterized by discreet luxury and accentuated by elements of natural materials, such as wood and stone. This is why, furniture and wall paneling in earthy tones as well as lighting fixtures in gold coloured metal and crystal elements were added to the predominantly white background of the apartment.
The wooden floor in the main areas of the apartment plays a predominant role, which gives the much-desired cosiness and warmth to the setup. The kitchen is a combination of classical and contemporary design, incorporating fine and beautifully carved cupboards, polished white marble on the bench and back as well as on the centrally-placed island with the gold-coloured metal support. The bathroom and WC areas were designed in a different style. The first in darker marble and wood tones and textures, while the latter in multi-coloured mosaic interchanged with microcement elements in earthy hues.
With such interventions, we created a space giving off an air of comfort and elegance thanks to the multitude of materials and hues used.
