SHARE PROJECT
The project concerned the refurbishment of an apartment with a surface area of 75,75 m2 in the city of Larissa. Entry to the apartment is done through the entrance hallway housing the closet/wardrobe and an entrance piece of furniture. The apartment consists of a living room, a kitchen and a dining room combined into a single area. The corridor provides access to the master bedroom and the children’s bedroom, the bathroom and a WC.
The owners’ request was to create a contemporary space by combining natural textures, like artificial stone, with wood textures and microcement. Lighting fixtures made of golden metal frames and marble-imitation tops used on the bench/kitchen back and the dining room rotonda table convey an atmosphere of discreet luxury to the light-coloured background of the setup. The kitchen was the result of a lean style of design, but at the same time it meets the needs for many storage spaces.
The bathroom and WC areas were designed along the same principle, by combining earthy colours and stone, wood and microcement elements. As a result of the major refurbishment, new living spaces were created and a contemporary character giving off an air of comfort and elegance was achieved.
