SHARE PROJECT
The project concerned the design of a new apartment with a surface area of 90.00 m2 in the Municipality of Maroussi, in Attica. Entry to the apartment is done through the entrance hallway, housing the closet/wardrobe covered with mirrored panels and a hanging entrance piece of furniture which is the extension of the kitchen’s central island. The apartment consists of a living room, a kitchen and a dining room combined into a single area.
The corridor provides access to the master bedroom with an en-suite WC, to a second bedroom and the main bathroom. The owners’ request was to create a contemporary space by combining natural textures, such as of wood and marble with glossy surfaces and golden details, so as to give off an air of discreet luxury. The light-coloured background of the single space and of the rest of the rooms is adorned with vertical surfaces in various patterns combined with plaster and wooden elements.
The kitchen’s design played a decisive role in the connection and the separation of the areas, covering at the same time the need for storage spaces. The bathroom and the WC were designed in a similar style, by combining marble and wood in light- and dark-coloured hues. With such interventions, we created functional new living areas in the entire apartment and also achieved an air of elegance, at the owners’ request.
