Multi-storey detached house in Farsala

SHARE PROJECT

The project concerns the construction of a new multi-storey detached house of a total surface area of 323.88 m2 with a roof on an inclined plot at the foot of the local tree grove in Farsala.

Due to the morphology of the ground (steep inclination) accounting for a difference in altitude of 10.5 m, the new multi-storey detached house as well as the surrounding areas are structured on levels which may also operate independently.

The first level, which is also the lowest one, has a surface area of 84,43 m2 and consists of a kitchen, a bathroom, a storage room and one bedroom. The middle level comprises a spacious living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a bathroom, a storage room and one bedroom. From this level, direct access to the storage room and the boiler room of the residence is provided. The 3rd floor, which is also the highest one, comprises one kitchen, four bedrooms, one main bathroom, one storage room, a study room and a WC with a vestibule. Access to the floors described above is achieved both via a straircase and an elevator.

As far as the surrounding area of the residence is concerned, it is arranged on six levels, where the first level which is also higher than the main access level comprises one enclosed parking lot with a WC and a storage room, and in addition, it provides direct access to the elevator and consequently to the rest of the residence. On the next level, access to the storage room and the boiler room of the residence is made from outside. Going down one more flight of stairs, we find ourselves on the 3rd level, from which outside access to the middle level of the residence is made. Moving on to the fourth level, we find the main entrance to the first floor of residence. The last two levels are mainly covered with plants, whereas there is aen enclosed BBQ space in one of them.  The style of the residence was chosen to be traditional with modern elements.

This functional design can meet the expectations of the group of people who will be occupying the residence in the immediate but also in the more distant future.
