SHARE PROJECT
The project concerns the major refurbishment of an apartment with a surface area of 28,89 m2 in the area of Zografou in Athens, with a view of turning it into an apartment for long-term or short-term occupancy. This studio comprises a kitchen, a living room and a bedroom combined into a single area, as well as the apartment’s WC.
Since the property will be made available for rent, basic changes were made always aiming at achieving the functionality needed for such a small space all day long.
The placement of a modern partition made of a perforated metal sheet painted in dark colour is instrumental here, since it gave the space a contemporary feel and separated the kitchen area from the rest of the apartment. The bed, the living room and the desk occupy the remaining space of the apartment enhancing its youthful character.
The colour palette used in the basic structure of this studio consisted of earthy hues which were achieved by adding dark-coloured elements mainly made of metal.
With such interventions, we created a space capable of accommodating the owners or their guests by providing all the necessary amenities and also a lighter aesthetic value to the space.
