Terraced house in Farsala

SHARE PROJECT

The project focuses on all interior spaces of a terraced house with a surface area of 128.32 m2 in the town of Farsala. The functions of this residence are developed into two levels, special attention was given, however, to the autonomy of the first level. The raised ground floor of an area 78.65 m2 accommodates the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and one bedroom along with the WC. Access to the first floor of 49.67 m2 is made via an interior metal staircase adorned with wood paneling, which leads up to an open plan corridor leading onto the terrace. This floor accommodates two more bedrooms and the master bathroom.

The design’s primary objective was to create a cosy, however luxurious, atmosphere for the relaxation and comfort of the owners and their guests during the day. To this end, a subtle range of earthy light-coloured hues used in furniture and masonry paneling were combined with the warm hues of wood. The golden details, the tinted mirror along with the lustrous marbleized texture add an essential elegance to the setup. The high ceiling of the living room and the dining area was adorned with circular as well as cylindrical pendant lights, an impressive chimney and the illuminated arrangement on the dining area wall.

With such interventions, we created a single space with two levels
maintaining total harmony between them thanks to the connections created by modern design.
